AutoVer is a configurable automatic or real time backup and personal versioning system. It can be used as a simple real time backup or as a more complex, but transparent version control system (like a realtime incremental backup). You can include and exclude certain files and browse the backups with the Backup Explorer.

I have used AutoVer successfully for a number of years. One problem that I have is the huge number of large log files in C:\ProgramData\AutoVer eating my C drive. I have found to real solution to this as even deleteing very old files causes AutoVer to malfunction. The only way is to uninstall/reinstall and clean out the C:\ProgramData\AutoVer folder.
