AutoVer is a simple application that can be set to automatically create backups of selected files and folders, all from a simple interface and without any complications. Once it is set up, it does everything - there is no need to remember to backup or update files, every time the user saves a file it is copied to the backup folder or drive automatically. A great thing about it is the fact that the user can include and exclude certain files and view the backups with the Backup Explorer. AutoVer can also be accessed from the taskbar icon.
Adding new files is as easy as creating and naming a new backup folder, choosing a backup location and adding folders/files to the backup. You can pause and resume the backup of specific folders using the command button, and the search feature enables to explore folders that you have backed up. You can use the program as a simple real-time backup or as an advanced file version control system. As soon as a folder is created, backups can be immediately initiated. Some schedule options are included too.
The program is very simple, it works with external hard drives without any issues and includes several tools like time stamping for better control. It doesn't offer very much but gets the job done.
